Hyundai motor posts steady growth in May

Chennai, June 4 (UNI) Leading car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) continued a steady growth in its sales chalking up 16,643 units for the domestic market over the corresponding period of previous year of 16,102 units.

Cumulative sales for May 2007 stood at 26,648 units with exports contributing 10,005 units, transulating in to a cumulative growth rate of three per cent.

HMIL had sold 25,883 vehicles in May 2006 with exports accounting for 9,781 units, the company said in a release here today.
