Hearing on petition of Kalbe Sadiq's son on July 9

Lucknow, June 4 (UNI) Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High court today posted for next hearing to July 9, the habeas corpus petition of prominent Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Sadiq's son Kalbe Hussain Naqvi seeking custody of his (Naqvi) son from his estranged wife Jahnvi Kapoor.

Jhanvi alias Haya Fatima alias Naina Rizvi shot to limelight after she created ruckus at Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan's Juhu residence 'Prateeksha' in Mumbai on April 20, during the marriage ceremony of Abhishek with actress Aishwarya Rai.

A single judge bench comprising Justice Dharamveer Sharma also allowed one of the respondents, Shahina -- Jhanvi's mother -- to file her affidavit in the case.

Naqvi had filed a petition seeking custody of his 10-year-old son Sayyed Kalbe Ali Naqvi alias Mohd Ali from Jhanvi.

He had claimed that the future of Sayyed was insecure in her hands.

The petitioner claimed that he had legally separated from his wife on September 22, 2001, following irreconciable differences. The petition also made a mention of the ruckus created by Jhanvi in Mumbai.
