Mizoram: Flash flood takes away girl

Aizawl, June 4: A 13-year-old girl was swept away in a flash flood at Tuikual rivulet here yesterday.

Her body was later recovered near Reiek Kai at Tlawng river by PHE employees.

The girl and five of her friends had gone to pluck mangoes at New Complex. On their way they had to cross the rivulet to take the shortest route leading to the mishap.
