Deranged man climbs tower

Lucknow, June 4 (UNI) Citing police harassment, a reportedly deranged man climbed up a tower to grab the attention of officials in the busy Hazratganj area of the state capital today.

Jiya-ul-Haq of Meerut climbed a telephone tower. However, he was later brought down safely.

He alleged harassment by the Meerut police and said he went up the tower to grab the attention of officials.

He has been sent for a medical examination under police custody.
