Delhi cloudy, after two days of simmering heat
New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) After two days' of scorching heat, it was a cloudy day today in Delhi, with wind blowing at a speed of 20 km per km.
The maximum temperature took a dip, to 38.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal, down from yesterday's 44 degrees Celsius. The minimum, however, rose by a degree to 31.3, compared to yesterday's low.
On Saturday, the national capital had recorded the seasons hottest day at 44.1 degrees Celsius. The high is going to be around 39 degrees in the next 24 hours, the Met office said.
It has forecast partly cloudy sky, isolated duststorm or thunderstorm over the region during the period.
