Cong constitutes fact-finding Comm for reversals in SMC elections

Shimla, Jun 4 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) today constituted a fact-finding committee to investigate the defeat of a few party candidates in the Shimla Municipal Corporation (SMC) elections.

A three-member committee headed by HPCC vice president AN Vidyarthi, has been constituted to investigate the defeat of some Congress candidates in the recently concluded SMC elections, party state president Viplove Thakur said here.

She said other members of the committee are HPCC's general secretary Anil Sharma and secretary Virender Sood.

The committee has been asked to submit its report within a month, she added.
