CM reviews progress of new industries, IT cos

Hyderabad, JunE 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today reviewed the status and progress of various new industries, IT companies and textile units which signed MoUs with the government.

According to an official release here, Dr Reddy directed the industries, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and IT Departments to clear all pending issues and see that all these start functioning immediately.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of EBC bearings, Vrindavan Textiles, DPM Textiles, Bharatiya International and Novarties for which the Industies Department signed MoUs recently.

Reviewing the status of implementation of the projects by textile units in the Mini Textile Park at Nacharam, he agreed to reimburse the subsidy portion of the power charges already paid by the textile units.

He instructed the Industries Department that notices should be issued to the industries ,if any of them were unduly delaying the projects and invite to establish new projects, the release added.
