Centre releases Rs 4.25 crore to HP under SGRY

Shimla, June 4 (UNI) The Centre has released a sum of Rs 4.25 crore to eight districts of Himachal Pradesh under the Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY) as third and additional installment for 2006-07, an official spokesman said today.

A sum of Rs 1.72 crore has also been released as first installment to five districts of the state under the scheme for 2007-08, he said.

The spokesman said the funds have been released by the Union Ministry Rural Development and would only be utilised under on approved items and conditions laid down in the SGRY.

The centre and the state would share the expenditure on the programme in the ratio of 75:25, he added.
