Blast kills CRPF constable

Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, June 4 (UNI) A CRPF constable was fatally injured by a naxal landmine blast today on the Bijapur-Bhopalpatnam road near this district's Chinna Kodepal village, police said.

Constable Suresh Kumar succumbed while being rushed by road to Raipur for treatment.

An earlier report mentioned that the constable was being conveyed to Raipur by helicopter.
