Arms and ammunition recovered in Kashmir
Srinagar Jun 4 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) today recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition, including explosives and grenades in the North Kashmir today.
A BSF spokesman said troops of 81 batallion launched a search operation in general area of Dardsun and Shumnag kin Trehgam after receiving a tip off that militants had stored arms and ammunition in the forest area.
He said after a long search for several hours, troops finally unearthed the hideout.
The arms and ammunition recovered, included four UBGL grenades, 36 HE grenades, two Chinese grenades, two kg explosive, AK ammunition 260 rounds, One AK Magazine and one Mine Electric Detonator.
However, no arrests have been made.
