TRS slams Congress MP's statement on GO 610

Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) today condemned Congress MP Harirma Jogayya's statement that he opposed the implementation of Government Order (G0) 610.

The GO 610 stipulated repatriation of employees of other regions working in Telangana to their respective areas so that the locals could get jobs.

Talking to mediapersons here, TRS MLA Nayani Narasimha Reddy asked that while the Congress Government in the State was stating that it would implement the GO by the month-end, how could a Congress MP oppose the party's decision and make a public statement against it.

He alleged that the Congress MP's statement might be part of a greater scheme by the Chief Minister to avoid implementation of the GO.

Meanwhile, senior Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao appealed to Mr Jogayya not to precipitate things by making such statements.

He said that when everybody was hoping that the situation in Telangana would settle down by strict implementation of the GO, it was unwise to make such statements.
