Three criminals lynched in Bihar

Kishanganj, June 03 (UNI) Three armed outlaws, who had spread terror in the border villages of the district along Bihar-Nepal border, had been lynched by the people at Chargharia village under Kochadhaman police station in the district last night.

District police superintendent Sunil Kumar Sinha said the armed bandits, who tried to barge into the house of one Mohammad Jamal, were overpowered and captured by the villagers, who came rushing on hearing the hullabaloo. The bandits were mercilessly beaten up following which they succumbed to the injuries on the spot.

The outlaws were identified as Sanjeev Yadav of Barauli village and Shanker Thakur and Abdul of Araria.

'' All three criminals were wanted in connection with a series of crimes perpetrated on both sides of Bihar-Nepal borders,'' Mr Sinha added.
