Three Afghans arrested with drugs
New Delhi, Jun 3 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted an international gang of drug traffickers with the arrested of three Afghan nationals from Old Delhi.
Police recovered 4.6 kg heroin, worth Rs 5 crore in the international market, from them.
Mohammad Nasir, Fazal Haq and Mohammad Rahim were arrested yesterday from Qutub Road area in the walled city.
During interrogation, they revealed that Nasir and Fazal Haq carried the contraband with them from Afghanistan and had arrived here yesterday morning, while Rahim had arrived the previous day.
Nasir was on his maiden visit to India.
Further investigations were in progress.
