Pvt guards fire many rounds in MP factory

Satna, MP, June 3 (UNI) Private security personnel have fired several rounds to keep agitating labourers away from a factory's premises in this district's Sagmana village.

Yesterday's incident took place at Kamal Sponge and Steel Ltd. No injury was reported. ''The sacked labourers were attempting to have their demands met by staging sit-in and demonstration over the past few days,'' said City Superintendent of Police Amit Saxena.

Even on Friday, the labourers tried to enter the factory and the personnel fired in the air.

''Peacefully-agitating labourers were targeted,'' alleged Mr Dharmendra Singh, who is linked to the agitation. Both sides lodged complaints against each other at Kolgawan Police Station.
