Novelist Pamman dies

Thiruvananthapuram, June 3 (UNI) Noted Malayalam novelist Pamman died here today following a brief illness.

He was 87.

R P Menon, who adopted the pen-name Pamman, had penned more than 30 novels, besides short stories and plays.

After completing his diploma in engineering from England, he worked as a Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer in the Railways.
