Mishap kills 5, hurts 11

Tikamgarh, MP, June 3 (UNI) Five labourers were killed and 11 injured, eight of them severely, when the Tata Sumo carrying them collided with a tree after a front tyre burst near this district Kenagaon early today.

The vehicle was returning from Jhansi to Chhatarpur district's Naugaon.

''The Sumo was carrying 18 people,'' said Niwadi's Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Sanjay Sahu. The labourers, who hailed from Naugaon, were employed at Delhi.
