Shillong, Jun 03 (UNI) Meghalaya Minister in-charge of Health and Family Welfare Deborah C Marak had warned stern actions against those government doctors failing to discharge their duties.

Talking to reporters here today, Ms Marak said a committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner and other senior doctors is being formed to overlook the way of providing information to the higher authority in state and submit weekly and monthly reports on the health aspects.

''We need to improve a lot, this is an important department and things has to improve drastically,'' the minister said.
