Minister warns black marketeers in AP

Guntur, June 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister K V Krishna Reddy today warned of severe action against black-marketeers, profiteers and hoarders of essential commodities.

Talking to reporters here, he said the State Government was keeping an eye on the prices of essential commodities. A high-level meeting would be held in Hyderabad shortly to identify the shortcomings in the Public Distribution System and initiate remedial measures.

To a question, the Minister promised severe action against money lenders who hold the white ration cards of poor borrowers as security for repayment of their loans.
