Leopard cub killed in road accident

Tirumala, June 3 (UNI) A leopard cub was killed when a four-wheeler knocked it down at First Ghat Road, near here, late last night.

TTD sources here said today that the mishap occurred when a vehicle hit the cub while it was crossing the road to enter the Tirumala forest area. The severely injured cub was lying on the road in a pool of blood.

Before the forest officials could arrive at the spot, the cub succumbed to injuries, the sources added.
