Hizb worker nabbed, militant hideout destroyed in Kashmir
Srinagar, June 3 (UNI) An over ground worker (OGW) of the pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen outfit was apprehended and a militant hideout destroyed across the Kashmir today, police said.
They said patrolling party of 30 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) apprehended the Hizb OGW, identified as Azad Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Shotgund Payeen, at Hanga in Handwara area of Kupwara district.
Two UBGL grenades were seized from the possession of Bhat who was an associate of a dreaded Hizb militant, Mushtaq Ahmad Malla.
Police destroyed a militant hideout in Guzrial Forests of Trehgam area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir.
Some blankets and utensils were seized from the hideout.
