High-tech security at 'Krishna Janmbhoomi'

Mathura, June 3 (UNI) Taking into account the increasing terrorist activities and attack on temples in recent past, high-tech security system has been set up in 'Krishna Janmbhoomi'.

To cover the wide area of 'red zone' and 'yellow zone,' newly developed high-tech CCTV cameras are being installed here.

Besides, a large number of Para military forces had been deployed in the region to avoid any untoward incident.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Kamal Saxena today said at least 11 CCTV cameras had already been installed. These high-tech cameras could keep an eye at the rotation of 360 degrees over the nearby area of the religious places.

Apprising about the utility of the cameras, he said these could be used to alert the forces at the time of emergency and also in tackling complaints of misconduct, made by the pilgrims, against policemen or other security personnel.

Senior Superintendent of Police R K Chaturvedi said recording was the most prominent feature of this device and it had memory to record the activities of a person till the time he was present in that area.

Any untoward activity noticed or recorded could be immediately informed to the senior police personnel through internet, he added.
