Haryana Gujjars continue protest

Hisar, June 3 (UNI) The Gujjar community continued with their protests, blocking vehicular traffic on the Hisar-Delhi NH this morning, police here said.

The community members sat on a 'dharna' outside the bus stand here, effecting the departure and arrival of buses. They lifted the blockade after intervention by the civil and police authorites.

Shouting slogans against the Rajasthan government, the protestors burnt an effigy of Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje. They demanded the arrest of all those responsible for the violence against the Gujjars in Rajasthan.
