Goods train derails near Bhusawal, traffic disrupted
Nagpur, June 3 (UNI) Rail traffic on the Mumbai-Howrah route was disrupted following derailment of 16 wagons of a goods train, near Bhusawal today.
The wagons of the empty goods train, on its way to Nagpur, went off the tracks near Bodwad, about 30 km from Bhusawal, this evening, Central Railway (CR) sources here said.
There was no report of any loss of life, the sources said.
Both the up and down tracks were blocked because of the derailment, and work was on to clear them, the sources said.
Meanwhile, trains operating along the route are likely to be regulated or diverted, the sources added.
