Fire in Shastri Park Slum

New Delhi, June 3 (UNI) A fire broke out in a slum near a Metro Station in East Delhi this evening.

Fire department said the blaze was reported at 0425 hrs from Shastri Park slum adjoining the Metro station.

No loss of life or injuries were reported and the cause of the fire, which was controlled with an hour, was yet to be ascertained.

As many as seven fire-tenders were sent to the site.
