Fake note racket busted in Karnataka

Belgaum, Jun 3 (UNI) Police have busted a fake currency racket by arresting two persons who produced Rs 100 notes using modern electronic gadgets in Nippani town in this district.

The duo were nabbed late last night and fake notes amounting to Rs 12000 was seized.

They were identified as Ramachandra Sutar Baikaji of Maharashtra and Pola Purushottam Ramaiah of Andhra Pradesh, now residing in Pune.

Police also seized computer and printer used to make the fake notes.
