CPI(M) workers held for occupying Govt land

Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) Several CPI(M) workers were arrested for occupying Government land as part of the party's ongoing land-grabbing movement at Falaknuma area on the city outskirts today.

Police said the arrested party functionaries included area committee secretary Sekhar and other local leaders.

The arrested CPI(M) leaders said they would organise dharnas on June ten and 11 to mount pressure on the Government to distribute house sites to the poor.
