Jammu, June 3 (UNI) The Congress-led Jammu and Kashmir state coalition and the Centre has failed to meet the people's aspirations, state BJP president Ashok Khajuria today said.

Addressing his party's ''Karyakarta Sammelan -- the Parivartan Rally'' here, Mr Khajuria said, ''The Centre and the state governments have totally failed to come up to the expectations of the people and have given price rise, unemployment, insecurity, denied citizenship rights to refugees of West Pakistan, PoK and those of 1965 and 1971.'' The Congress government at the Centre is only concerned for the benefit of five thousand families of those in India, who indulge in hoarding and black marketing and pays huge commissions, but is least bothered for the over 100 crore common Indians, he said.

Taking the coalition partners in the state to task for betraying the people, by not fulfilling any of their promises made during 2002 assembly elections, the BJP leader urged the gathering not to trust these coalition partners any more, get united and teach a lesson to all those who never returned to enquire of their well being, after being elected.

''The time has come when the Jammu -based leaders, who have always worked against the interests of Jammu and bowed before Kashmiri leadership for personal gains, be taught a lesson,'' he said.

He also urged them not to allow PDP or any other such political party to hold public rallies in Jammu, as these parties are promoting cause of Pakistan and separatists in the state by demanding demilitarisation, self-rule and autonomy.
