Collision kills 3 in UP

Basti, June 3 (UNI) At least three persons were killed and as many others grievously injured in a head-on collision between two speeding trucks here today.

Police Superintendent Anand Swaroop said the accident took place on Basti-Gorakhpur highway in Munderwa area, in which three persons died on the spot.

The injured were rushed to the district hospital, where the condition of one was stated to be critical.

The deceased remained unidentified.
