CM for incorporating moral values in educational curriculum

Shimla, Jun 3 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbahdra Singh today emphasised the need for incorporating moral values in school curriculum besides patriotism, respect for elders and social harmony for strengthening universal brotherhood.

Addressing the congregation of Shri Satya Sai Seva Sansthan at Pujarli, near here, he said imparting information about moral values from early stage would help in strengthening brotherhood and communal harmony.

Mr Singh lauded the Sansthan in starting a residential educational institution within the camps and said quality education would be imparted to the children.

The institution would supplement the state's endeavour in providing quality education to all children of the state, he said.

He said the custodians of the Sansthan would have to pay a special role in shaping the future of the students and guide them through all odds and make them responsible citizens.

The Chief Minister also assured the school management of all possible help in developing its campus.
