Boy dies at govt hospital

Chhindwara, MP, June 3 (UNI) The Nagpur-Bhopal road was blocked and a bandh observed in this district's Pandurna tahsil by people's representatives and the public demanding action against doctors after a 12-year-old boy died this morning due to alleged carelessness at a government hospital.

The agitation ended after Collector Arun Pandey ordered a magisterial inquiry into Omprakash's death. Saunser's Sub-Divisional Magistrate was appointed as the Investigating Officer.

A police case was registered against the hospital's Dr Pradeep Dhakad and Block Medical Officer Anil Kadwe.
