100 kg explosive seized in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 3 (UNI) The Army today claimed to have seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including 100 kg explosive, from Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.
A defence spokesman said troops of 5 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) conducted a search operation based on specific information in Kaubagh general area near Ganderbal yesterday.
During the search, the troops seized a large cache of arms and ammunition hidden in an open field and camouflaged with foliage.
The seizure includes 100 kg of explosive, 10 hand grenades, UBGL grenades, detonators and 217 rounds of AK ammunition, he added.
