Yash Chopra,Gulzar, Shanker asked to reply to Daler's charges

New Delhi, Jun 2 (UNI) A city court today asked producers Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra of the film 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', lyricist Gulzar, director Shaad Ali and singer Shanker Mahadevan to file their reply by July 12, on charges levelled by Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi.

In a petition, Mehndi alleged that his voice was replaced by that of Shanker Mahadevan in the title song of the movie, and sought a stay on the release of the film and on sale of its music CDs and cassettes. He also sought damages worth Rs one crore.

The matter came up for hearing in the court of Additional district Judge Paramjeet Singh, who while refusing a stay, asked the parties to reply by July 12.
