Rigorous imprisonment to three for attempt to murder

Nawada, June 2 (UNI) A local court here today awarded ten years rigorous imprisonment to three people for their attempt to murder.

The convicts were also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 each.

Additional District and Sessions judge DN Verma found all the three accused guilty under section 307 of IPC, for making an attempt to kill Md Faheem of Godapur village under town police station in Nawada district.

According to the charges, the convicts had shot at the victim on April 28, 1999, in which Md Faheem sustained serious injury.

Those convicted were Md Vakil, Md Mahfooz and Md Mumtaz.
