Policeman killed in Bhabhua

Bhabhua, June 02 (UNI) One policeman was killed by unidentified criminals at Athpura village under Durgavati police station area in Kaimur district today.

Police said that motorcycle borne criminals opened fire on cop Akhileshwar Singh when he was on his way to Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh from Deohali village in Kaimur district. Mr Singh died on the spot.

''The victim was posted in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh'' police added.

Raids were being carried out to nab the killers.
