PAS seeks Chief Secretary's help to find out abductees

Itanagar, June 2 (UNI) The Panggung Area Welfare Society (PAWS) of Manchal circle in Anjaw district has sought personal intervention of state Chief Secretary Tabom Bam to find out a woman, who was abducted along with her baby.

Bapinglu and her new born baby were reportedly abducted from Wakro in Arunachal's Lohit district.

Sources said Bapinglu had her second marriage on May 10 last and a few miscreants close to her first husband had kidnapped her on May 28.

Lohit Superintendent of Police C P Mansai said the case is reported be to an outcome of a clash between two one clans.

The PAS expressed displeasure over the district administration's failure in solving the case, even after repeated persuasion.
