Vadodara, Jun 2 (UNI) Former BJP minister and ex-Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) chariman Nalin Bhatt refused to sign the necessary form for his release last evening when he was called to the magistrate's chamber at Narmada Bhavan here.

However 32 others were released after they signed the form.

Yesterday, police had arrested 26 persons for staging a protest march over the detention of Mr Bhatt who, along with six others, had been held on Thursday evening.

Mr Bhatt has been detained at Pratapnagar police station after being held under Section 151 of the IPC for ''disturbing peace''. He was protesting against those who had carried posters of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden on May 25.
