Heat kills ducks in MP

Barwani, MP, June 2 (UNI) Scorching heat killed 19 ducks over the past few days on the Narmada riverbank in this district's Rajghat area.

''Carcasses' samples are being sent to Bhopal's High-Security Animal Disease Laboratory for analysis,'' said Deputy Director (Veterinary Services) Abhilasha Bhardwaj.

The mercury has soared to 44 C here.
