HDFC opens 19 branches in NCR

New Delhi, Jun 2: HDFC Bank today opened 19 branches in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), thus bringing the total number of branches to 116.

''We added as many as 149 branches last fiscal, 101 in the last (December-March) quarter alone, most of them in semi-urban and rural locations,'' company's Executive Vice President and Regional Head Seshan Ramakrishnan said.

The bank had also opened 14 branches in October 2005, a state,emt saod.
