Asom: Former ULFA cadre shot dead

Guwahati, June 2: A surrendered cadre of the ULFA was gunned down by the ultras in Tinsukia district, official sources said today.

Two ULFA rebels shot Junti Gogoi dead while he was returning home last night near Matiakhana under Bordubi police station.

The rebels immediately fled the spot as Junti succumbed to injuries.
