Clash between congress, BJP workers

Jammu, June (UNI) Congress and BJP workers today clashed at Miran Sahib here after a Congress MLA slapped a BJP panchayat member when he objected to the presence of ruling party leaders at a government function organised for educating panchayat members about a Centre-sponsored scheme.

Later, the BJP panchayat members staged a protest dharna and blocked Jammu R S Pura disturbing the movement of traffic for over an hour.
