4 hurt as MUV runs over roadside dwellers

Varanasi, June 2 (UNI) Four people, including a woman, were critically hurt after being run over by a MUV in Cholapur area here early today.

Munni Devi (50), Anand (26), Sanjay (24) and Kanhaiyya (20), all sleeping on the roadside, were seriously injured after they were run over by the MUV, carrying passengers from Deoria to Varanasi, police said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.

The MUV's driver Pramod Yadav has been arrested and his vehicle seized.
