2 commit suicide after failing exam

Gorakhpur, Jun 2 (UNI) Depressed over their failure in the UP board examination, two students allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents here.

Oneof them Maya Singh, 18, of Kotwali area was seriously ill after consuming poison late yesterday. She later died at the Baba Raghav Das Medical College.

In a separate incident in Badhalganj area, Brijesh (18) committed suicide by immolation at his house in Koili Khal village late last night.

The bodies had been sent for autopsy and investigations were on, police today said.
