Three pilgrims die in road accident

Nawada, June 1 (UNI) At least three pilgrims, including a woman, were killed and seven others sustained injuries when a jeep slipped into a roadside ditch under Hisua police station area in the district today.

Police said the incident took place when the pilgrims were returning to Gaya after offering obesiance at Malmas Mela in Rajgir.

''The driver lost control over his vehicle leading to the accident,''police added.

The injured were admitted to local hospital, police added.
