Three killed, Nine hurt in UP road accident

Ferozabad, June 1 (UNI) At least three people were killed and nine others severely injured when a speeding private bus overturned in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh today.

Police said the mishap took place on Sirsaganj-Karhal highway in Barnahal area, when the driver of the ill-fated bus lost control over the wheels in an attempt to save a motorcyclist.

Two persons died on the spot. The injured were admitted to Ferozabad district hospital, where another grievously wounded succumbed.
