Tenth standard student commits suicide

Chennai, Jun 1 (UNI) A boy allegedly committed suicide after failing in the tenth standard examinations, results of which were announced yesterday.

Police said the boy, Jaffer Hussain, upset over his performance in the examination, took the extreme step by hanging at his house in Thiru Vi Ka Nagar in North Chennai yesterday.

The body was taken to Kilpauk Medical College for post-mortem.
