Set India sweeps PROMAX/BDA awards

Mumbai, June 1 (UNI) Set India has won a whopping 19 awards in the PROMAX/BDA India Award 2007 function here recently.

The group won eight golds and eleven silvers across various categories. The group's youngest channel, SAB, walked away with the maximum awards, a press release here said.

SAB made a clean sweep in the best comedy and best entertainment promo for Twinkle Beauty Parlour and Fame X. It also swept in the best holiday, seasonal special promo. The promo for Fame X on SAB won Silver. the channel bagged both awards for the best launch campaign for Twinkle Beauty Parlour and Fame X. Twinkle Beauty Parlour also won silver for best the print ad, the release added.

MAX's 'Cricket' Is back campaign for last year's Champions Trophy won Gold. MAX won both awards in the Best Sports Promo category for 'Come Play' and 'Cricket is back'. The former captured the West Indies spirit ahead of the World Cup.
