Scribes given Rs 250 each at press conference

Bhopal, June 1 (UNI) Journalists attending a local private school's press conference were today surprised when, as the event drew to a close, each mediaperson was handed over an envelope containing Rs 250.

Some of the scribes returned the envelopes to the organisers despite the latter's insistence that the money be accepted.

The organisers argued that this time round they decided on presenting cash instead of gifts to journalists! UNI
