Rural Bank looted: 2 hurt
Tikamgarh (MP), June 1 (UNI) Unidentified youth looted Rs 8.80 lakh at gun-point from the Bundelkhand Regional Rural Bank's Civil Lines branch here today after injuring the Branch Manager and a messenger, police said.
Police said the youth, who arrived on two motor cycles, attacked the manager and messenger who were entering the branch carrying a bag containing the cash brought from nearby main branch.
Messenger Rajendra Ahirwar got gunshot wounds from a country-made revolver, while Manager Arvind Tripathi was also injured in the attack. Both were hospitalised, police added.
Police launched a drive to nab the culprits.
