Bihar: Rs 4 lakh looted from a newspaper agent

Hajipur, June 1: Some unidentified criminals have looted Rs four lakh from an agent of an English daily on Chhapra-Sonepur road under Sonepur police station in Saran district.

Police said that the criminals looted the cash from Sushil Kumar Singh at gun point yesterday, when he was on his way to deposit the amount at the head office of the daily in Patna.

''Intensive search operations were being carried out to nab the criminals,'' police added.
