RCom announces free roaming for mobile customers
Chennai, Jun 1 (UNI) Leading telcom major Reliance Communications (RCOM) today announced the launch of free roaming for its mobile customers.
The 'India Roam Free' Plans for Reliance Mobile post-paid customers have been unveiled within a week of 70 per cent reduction in roaming rates, a company release here said.
The 'India Roam Free Plan 390' offered 200 free minutes of incoming calls while roaming.
Outgoing calls while roaming would be charged at 40 paise per minute to local Reliance and other calls at Re one.
Similarly, on the 'India Roam Free Plan 990' a subscriber will get a whopping 1,300 minutes of free roaming talktime, distributed over 900 minutes of incoming calls while roaming and 400 minutes of free local calling.
A nominal charge of 50 paise for local calls and Re one for STD calls would be applicable for customers choosing this tariff plan, the release added.
